WARNING: Don't Sleep With Wet Hair it Causes Serious Problems!

Did you know that it is bad to sleep with wet hair?

To begin with, the moisture retained in the hair for too long can reach and inflame the scalp, resulting in an unpleasant itching sensation. This can also damage your hair as it increases the porosity of the hair surface.

Here are some other reasons why you shouldn’t go to sleep wth wet hair:

1. Headache

You can get a serious headache from sleeping with wet hair. Namely, the body temperature increases during the sleeping. Consequently, there’ll be a significant temperature difference between your body and the towel used to wrap your head, thanks to the moisture in your hair. This may lead to a serious headache.

2. Hair Breakage

Wet hair is prone to breaking. Hence, it’s not advisable to go to bed with wet or dripping hair. Otherwise, too much hair breakage may occur.

3. Expect plenty of sticky hair

Wet hair tends to tangle and bind amongst itself. Hence, if you go to bed with wet hair, you may wake up to a lot of sticky hair the next morning.

4.Infections

Wet hair wets the towel, which in turn wets the pillow. Subsequently, the pillow becomes a breeding nest for bacteria and other disease-causing organisms.

5.Itching

Going to sleep with wet hair can result in various kinds of itching, thanks to the moisture that accumulates in the skin of your head.

6. Muscle pain

Muscle pain, severe cramps, and facial paralysis can result from sudden temperature changes. This can eventually result in the paralysis of the entire body, which can be fatal.

7. Dandruff

The presence of moisture in the scalp can undermine the function of the sebaceous glands, making them produce too much or insufficient oil. It can disrupt the scalp’s natural pH balance, which can lead to dandruff.

Therefore, it is imperative that you avoid sleeping with wet hair and you will be free from all these problems and complications. In fact, it is advisable to always wash your hair during the day so it will have dried by the time you are going to sleep.
